- Organize your life. Take control and learn how to prioritize. The more organized you are, the better off you will be in the long run.
- Get active. Whether you enjoy riding your bike on a sunny day or prefer to meditate in yoga class, it is important to be active. Just 30 minutes of cardio a day will release feel-good endorphins!
- Never take work home with you. If the workday ends at 5 pm then let it end there for you. Unless you are the owner of a company, you should not be working home on the weekends. No one should stress about their job so much that it is making them sick or unhealthy.
- Go to bed early. It is important to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep a night. Lack of adequate sleep has been linked to a host of health issues.
- Take a vacation. If you have vacation time, why not take advantage of it? You deserve a summer vaca! Even a weekend getaway will allow you to relax and feel refreshed come Monday.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to keep stress levels to a minimum.
